Dairy Free Condensed Milk
Condensed milk is in so many toffee recipes and I can’t find any dairy free condensed milk versions where we live. By making my own I have opened up the ability to make so many more recipes.
Makes 14 fl oz
Ingredients:
55 g dairy free spread
110 ml boiling water
155 g caster sugar
125 g dried dairy free milk powder (such as soya, coconut)
Method:
Melt the dairy free spread
Pour the boiling water, melted spread, sugar, dried milk powder and vanilla extract into a food processor and mix until blended
Pour into a container and chill in fridge for an hour before use.
Additional Notes:
Can be stored for up to several weeks in the fridge but will need to be stirred before use.
