A goal without a plan is just a wish.

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” — Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
What is a goal? In the realm of holistic health, especially when facing challenges like autoimmune diseases and coeliac disease, a goal is not merely a fleeting desire; it serves as a beacon directing us towards better health and wellbeing. However, simply wishing for a healthier life is far from sufficient. To transform aspirations into tangible achievements, we must devise actionable plans that pave the way.
A magic lamp sprinkled with fairy dust is a wonderful thought, yet it remains confined to the realms of fantasy. Likewise, wishing upon a star will not carve out the path to your goals. Instead, we must embrace the task of actual achievement. This involves outlining a comprehensive plan - arguably the most formidable challenge when embarking on a new venture, particularly in the journey toward gluten-free living.
To conquer this challenge, it is essential to commit to your plan wholeheartedly. Picture yourself thriving; visualisation is a powerful tool in this journey. I adore utilising Vision Boards for this very purpose! By laying out your dreams in a visual format, you can create a tangible representation of your aspirations, keeping your motivation alive.
I recognise that the road to reaching your goals often feels daunting, especially when it comes to embracing gluten-free lifestyles or managing autoimmune diseases. However, when I break down those goals into smaller, digestible steps, they often appear less intimidating and more attainable. It’s crucial to remember that few people achieve their ambitions instantaneously!
Once you’ve mapped out the necessary steps, it’s all about following through. Each step forward is a victory, bringing you closer to a life enriched through holistic health artistry. Your journey may involve many twists and turns, but with determination and a solid plan, you can transition wishes into reality, ultimately achieving the health and balance you deserve.

In Summary: What is a goal?
To achieve a goal, you have to make plans. You have to decide how you are going to go about achieving your goal.
A magic lamp though a wonderful idea, is not reality. Wishing on a star is not a plan. A star simply won’t get the job done.
We have to achieve the goal. We need to lay out a clear plan (this is often the biggest challenge we face with a new venture).
We need to commit to the plan.
Commit to creating and visualizing how you’re going to get where you want to go. I love using Vision Boards for this bit. There may be many steps on the way, but when I break them down I find them less frightening and easier to achieve. Sometimes I have to remind myself that few people reach and attain their goals immediately!
Once the steps have been created, all that’s left is to follow them!
